Glenuig

Glenuig is a tiny community of just over thirty people located in the area called Moidart on the northern bounds of the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

Access to Glenuig by public road was only made possible in 1966, and mains electricity arrived in 1983. The pride of the village is their lovely village hall which hosts a fantastic array of events throughout the year.  The nearby Glenuig Inn offers accommodation and good food and drink.

The views across to the Small Isles of Eigg and Rum from this strectch of coast are quite simply unparalleled.
